So you’ve decided to try out a new experience? An anal adventure?

This is exciting! And a little bit scary, we know. Maybe you’ve already tried a little probing with a finger, and you know there are some delicious feelings but you’re still not sure. Maybe you haven’t even gone near the naughty bit yet.

Well, we’re here to help get you on track for some anal awesomeness! Let’s start with a quick look at anatomy. Your anus (yep, we all have them) is surrounded by two rings of muscle: the internal and external sphincters. The external sphincter is no problem; you should be able to squeeze and release it fairly easily. The internal sphincter is another story.

That guy likes to stay tight, and it isn’t too keen to let things in there. Never mind, though, because that whole area is full of erotic nerve endings that just love a bit of sexy stimulation and, with a little tantalising training, the internal sphincter will play along happily. Take it easy to start with.

Your essential toolkit should have tons of anal lube included. Not desensitising lube, please! The last thing you want is not to feel the wonderful erotic sensations that are the whole point of anal sex. But, also: numbing lubes and sprays can prevent you from feeling when something is wrong. The fragile skin inside the anus can tear if it isn’t treated with care, so keep it lubed and stop immediately if you feel something is wrong. Have no fear though: with patience and lube, and some practice, you’ll be having amazing anal with no problem!
