A menstrual cup or disc steriliser can make that little end-of-cycle ritual so much easier, and Sofia keeps things beautifully simple. Just pop your rinsed cup or disc into the reusable container, add water to the maximum fill line, close the lid and microwave for 3–5 minutes. Then leave it for another 2 minutes so the steam can do its thing.

What we especially like is that Sofia doubles as a storage case between cycles, so there’s no need to hunt around for your cup or disc when your next period arrives. Its small, reusable shape also makes it handy for keeping everything together when you’re travelling.

Once you’re done, a quick rinse with cold water or a mild, unscented, oil-free wash is all it needs. Just let the steriliser dry completely before storing it.
