It has one motor, that drives seven vibration and pulse patterns. The range moves from a steady, even hum to rolling waves that sink gradually deeper. The silicone is velvety to the touch and warms quickly on contact. It is fully waterproof and charges via USB, so there are no batteries to source or replace.
The Polypos works equally well with a light massage oil or a water-based lubricant to help the tentacles glide more freely across skin. Keep the vibration lower if the area is sensitive or recovering from strain. It sits comfortably in the hand whether you are using it alone or passing it to a partner.
